Who's Who at King Edward School!

Using the pattern in The Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown,

students in grade one have created their own book

about the people who work at our school.

 

As a class, students visited and interviewed

each person about their job and responsibilities.

 

We took photos with our digital camera during each of our visits.

After each visit, we returned to our classroom,

talked about what we had learned,

and wrote about each person on chart paper.

 

During our discussions, we also decided on what 

was the most important thing about each person's job.

Each student created an illustration to go with their visit.
